Can a supplier refuse to give invoice in Arabic?

You have the right to obtain all correct information and data about the products you buy (art. 2). The supplier is obliged to inform you of all the essential data about the product, in particular its source, price, qualities and basic characteristics (art. 4).

All advertisements, data, invoices, receipts and contracts — including electronic ones — must be written in Arabic in clear, legible script, together with data identifying the supplier, its address, contact methods, registration details and trademark if any; they may be in two or more languages provided one is Arabic (art. 5). The supplier must also place the data required by the standards on goods clearly in Arabic (art. 6).

The supplier is obliged to give you an invoice containing its tax registration number, the transaction date, and the product's price, specifications, type and quantity (art. 10). If no invoice is given, you may prove the product's specifications and the contract elements by all means of proof (art. 11).
